SOUTH AFRICA – Axis Fiduciary Ltd, one of the leading corporate and fiduciary service providers in Mauritius has appointed Mr. Alan Witherden as its regional representative for Southern Africa.
Alan is an accomplished Business Development Executive with over 20 years’ experience in the region and holds a post-graduate MBA Degree in Finance and General Business from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business.
Prior to joining Axis, Alan was the Business Development Director (Southern Africa) at another provider of corporate management and advisory services.
Previously, he was also a National Business Development Director at PwC, Johannesburg from 2001 to 2011.
This new South African appointment confirms the established strategy and aspiration of Axis to be the leading fiduciary firm in the region while simultaneously promoting Mauritius as an International Financial Centre of choice.
Commenting on his appointment, Witherden said “I am extremely excited about this new venture and looking forward to this new role in a company like Axis which has shown considerable momentum over the past decade. Our focus is to strengthen the Southern African market and to unlock new potential.”
