KENYA – Airport hotel, Crowne Plaza has led the hotels in Kenya by receiving a CovidClean (TM) certification from the globally recognized Safe hotels.

This comes at a crucial moment in the hospitality industry when current and future travellers are demanding watertight reassurance that their travel choice hotels and destinations are clean and safe.

The CovidClean (TM) hotel certification is a comprehensive quality assurance certificate that reassures guests and bookers that the hotel is ready for business.

It comprises of a set of hygiene procedures and pandemic protocols designed to enable hotels to assure guests that their property meets the appropriate standards.

The certification also covers critical sanitation areas that a hotel needs to keep an eye on, including cleaning, hygiene, social distancing, on-site resources, training and awareness.

Besides the CovidClean Certification, the hotel also has another certification on Global Hotel Security Standard by the same organization.
