MOROCCO – DoubleTree, a hotel chain managed by Hilton, has announced plans to open a new hotel in Marina Agadir in the summer of 2023.

DoubleTree by Hilton Marina Agadir Hotel & Residences will be located as part of the Marina Agadir project, including access to the beach, 228 guest rooms, suites, and serviced apartments.

The hotel is also close to the historical site of Oufella Ruins, will be located 27 kilometres from Agadir Al Massira Airport, as well as being approximately 10 kilometres from the coastal destination of Taghazout.

The hotel will also feature an all-day dining restaurant with an outdoor terrace, a grab and go outlet and four lounges and bars, including at the pool and beach area. As well as this, a fitness centre, kids club and spa will also be included.

The hotel is in a prime location in Marina Agadir and will enhance the overall visitor experience with the world-renowned DoubleTree by Hilton brand, as well as great dining, events and leisure facilities.”

Hilton currently operated four hotels in Morocco: Hilton Tanger City Center Hotel & Residences, Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa, Hilton Garden Inn Tanger City Centre and Hilton Garden Inn Casablanca Sud.

Hilton expects to open Conrad Rabat Arzana and Hilton Taghazout Bay later in 2022. The waterfront resort will offer views of the Atlantic Coast, adding to the new Arzana development.

The upcoming Conrad will be situated 15 kilometres from the Moroccan capital city of Rabat, offering a range of upmarket residences.

The hotel will have 120 keys, as well as a lobby bar, pool lounge, spa, salon and 600 square metres of events space.
