EGYPT – Egyptian home renovation startup, Shatablee has raised US$1.2 million in new funding round, to expand its operations and its product portfolio.

The platform allows all homeowners in gated neighborhoods to have access to a quicker, easier, and more cost-effective journey by combining a range of economic solutions on a single digital platform.

Founded in 2021, Shatablee intends to digitally transform the traditional home finishing process by providing extraordinary solutions.

The new funds will be used to scale operations as the company seeks to “optimize and fully digitize the interior finishing journey”.

We believe that Shatablee is best suited to address the asymmetries faced by customers as well as professionals in the market,” said Moustafa Amer, founder, and chief executive of Shatablee.

“Be it the lack of financing, the prolonged time to deliver that may take up to 12 months, the limited price transparency or the inadequate quality of houses created across many segments, especially within [the] gated communities.”

Shatablee helps customers to choose their unit type inside their home compound and then explore a gallery of numerous design packages ranging from premium to exclusive to luxury.

Following that, users can personalize the designs for each location within their unit, choose from a choice of financing options, and place their orders.

Shatablee begins the building phase after the order is confirmed and completes the entire procedure in 90 days.

The startup’s CEO believes that the market’s sheer breadth and diversity work in their favor to transform the real estate sector in the North African country.

Unlike procedures that took a longer time, Shatablee embraces technology for faster and easier renovation.

Ancient procedures such as hosting and maintaining a full library of product brochures or visiting with each client one-on-one are no longer in use.

In the interior design sector, video conferences, virtual resource catalogs, and powdered 3D simulation technologies are becoming more widespread.

The sector is prepared for a surge into a 3D virtual world, especially with increased discussions about the internet’s future.

Technology is always evolving, allowing us to discover new and interesting ways to better our lives.

Shatablee is all about allowing your consumers to browse through your designs from the comfort of their own homes thanks to the introduction of 3D technology.
