RWANDA – Four Points by Sheraton, a part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, has announced the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Kigali, marking the brand’s debut in Rwanda.

Designed to appeal to both business and leisure travelers, the hotel offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, approachable and relaxed design, and stylish comfort in the heart of the capital city.

Four Points by Sheraton Kigali is Marriott International’s second property in Rwanda.

With easy access from Kigali International Airport and just a few minutes away from the city’s main embassies, the hotel sits in an enviable location and seamlessly blends vintage and modern design elements with distinct local touches to create a vibrant aesthetic and a compelling sense of place.

The hotel has a total of 154 rooms in different categories, including 108 rooms of standard king, 34 rooms of the standard double and five rooms for the junior suite.

The executive suite has three rooms; the family suite has three rooms in addition to one loft room present.

Each room has a 55-inch TV, sofa and ottoman chairs, coffee/team making facilities, ironing facilities, alarm clock, floor-to-ceiling windows and special bedding packages.

The hotel also has three restaurants with international dishes serving African favourites.

Four Points Social has the capacity to accommodate 80 people; it has a brew bar near the pool for 55 seats, whereas its Coco Fizz pool bar can approximately host 50 people.  Sheraton also has a 24/7 gym for in-house guests.

For conferences, the hotel has 9 meeting spaces with the biggest having the capacity to accommodate 200-250 people, whereas the smallest boardroom can host six people total. 

Leisure amenities include a state-of-the art fitness center with cutting-edge equipment available 24 hours a day, a spa and an outdoor pool for guests to relax and recharge for the day.

Marriott is the world’s biggest hospitality group with around 8,000 hotels worldwide overlooking 30 brands and expanding in all corners of the world.
