MOROCCO – Chestertons, an international real estate operator, has entered the Moroccan market after acquiring JK Real Estate, an established estate agency business specializing in new homes, and will run under the brand name of Chestertons Morocco.

The launch marks the first Chestertons office to open on the African continent and follows the expansion announcement.

Led by Jawad El Hassani Sbai, an experienced director of sales and business, Chestertons Morocco will be a new company for the management of real estate properties in the country. Its headquarters will be in Rabat, but it will also serve major cities such as Casablanca, Marrakech, and Tangier.

The company will focus on high-end properties, including freshly-constructed luxury apartments and villas.

“The local Chestertons Morocco team, as a full member of our international network will benefit from all the strength of our network of partners but also from the full and complete support of all their colleagues around the world, who they too will undoubtedly benefit from this new showcase in a key country like Morocco,” Mr. Vercoe said.

“The team in Morocco is starting this adventure with recognized expertise in new development, which goes hand in hand with the positioning and development strategy for this year and those to follow for Chestertons. There is no doubt that this team will be able to meet the challenges and position itself in the group’s success stories,” he said.

Chestertons’ expansion in Morocco is part of a large growth strategy the firm recently launched. Over the past few years, the organization has opened several offices in many countries such as Canada, France, Spain, and the UAE.

The Rabat branch will serve the main large cities of the Kingdom, like Tangier, Marrakech, Casablanca, Agadir or even Dakhla, by highlighting the most exclusive real estate projects in the Kingdom, the statement said, noting that attention special attention will be given to new developments as well as for buildings, apartments or villas.

Chestertons Morocco teams, in addition to their synergy with the rest of the group’s teams and branches around the world, will benefit from privileged access and networking with quality international buyers and investors from all over the world.
