KENYA – Little Cab, a ride-hailing company, has launched its boda boda and Car services in Nakuru, Kenya three weeks after a successful launch of Little BODA services in the coastal region of the country.

Little’s clients can now enjoy a safe, convenient and affordable way of moving in and around the city with minimal hassle and at affordable rates.

The firm says that Little BODA will attract a fee of Sh15 (US$0.15) per kilometre of which clients will pay Sh10 (US$0.1) and the other Sh5 (US$0.05) will be covered by Little.

Little Basic, on the other hand, will attract a fee of Sh27 (US$0.27). Clients will pay Sh20 (US$0.2) and Little will cover the remaining Sh7 (US$0.07).

The launch of Nakuru operations are in line with Little’s bigger plans of expanding its operations across the country in the short term and across the continent in the long term, thereby cementing its vision of being the Pan African mobility company. The company already has a presence in Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia as well.

According to the General Manager, Alex Mwaura, “Little is dedicated to offering the best quality of service to its clients at the most affordable cost while ensuring drivers earn better on the platform at all times. The expansion to Nakuru is part of our plans to cement our presence as a formidable player not only in the country but in the region and across the continent.”

Clients can enjoy the services by downloading the Little application from Play Store for android users and App Store for iOS users. Both Little BODA and Little Basic categories will be included in the app after installation.

Currently, Little Cab has a variety of products on its platform that include Little Basic for smaller sized cars, LittleBODA, Little Parcel- available to both retail and corporate clients in Nairobi, and Little Shuttle, meant to provide an alternative mass commute solution for Nairobi residents

The company says its expansion plans are aimed at growing its customer base and offering affordable transport solutions to Kenyans.

Little Boda was first launched in Nairobi in November 2018 before expanding its operations to Kisumu in July 2019.
