SOUTH AFRICA – The Brenntag Food & Nutrition business unit in South Africa, a subsidiary of Germany based Brenntag Group, has entered into an exclusive agreement for the distribution of Senus product lines in South Africa.

Under the Agreement, Brenntag South Africa will distribute Sensus’s Frutafit® inulin and Frutalose® oligofructose natural soluble dietary fibres in the country.

Frutafit® inulin and Frutalose® oligofructose are natural soluble dietary fibres sourced from chicory roots. The ingredients have significant, scientifically proven health benefits with texturizing properties and a rich taste.

Sensus explains that they can be used as sugar and fat replacer with positive impact on taste and texture across a variety of food and beverage applications.

Commenting on the agreement, Michiel Pronk, Sales Manager at Sensus, says:-
