NIGERIA – The management and board of Nosak Group have announced the appointment of Mr Thomas Oloriegbe as the new Group Managing Director of the company effective August this year.

Nosak in a stamen revealed that Mr. Thomas Oloriegbe would oversee the business operations of the group while providing strategic guidance and direction for the various businesses.

The company further noted that Oloriegbe would be shouldered the responsibility of driving concerted efforts towards attaining the group’s short and long-term goals.

“He brings on board his wealth of experience and vast knowledge along with his exceptional track record of immense success in manufacturing operations,” Nosak said in a statement.

Thomas Oloriegbe, an alumnus of Lagos Business School’s Senior Management Programme and also holds a Masters’ in Business Administration from the University of Calabar.

He is also a Fellow of the Certified Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria, a certified management trainer from the Center for Management Development (CMD) and a member of the Institute of Directors, Nigeria.

Prior to his appointment, Oloriegbe served Nosak in the capacity of the group chief operating officer for a period of four years.

As COO he was responsible for coordinating administrative and operational functions of the various strategic business units.

The Group Executive Chairman, Nosak, Dr Toni Ogunbor, expressed confidence in the leadership style of Oloriegbe and looked forward to future contributions and growth of the group in his new role.

Nosak Group is a Nigerian industrial conglomerate with diversified interests in the Nigerian economy offering vital services in retail, manufacturing, logistics, finance, agriculture, real estate, international trade.

Its subsidiary, Nosak Distilleries is the largest manufacturer of ethanol in Nigeria with a storage facility of 24 million liters and currently controls more than 65% of the domestic supply market.

The conglomerate also owns a diverse group of companies including Zex Standard Chemicals Limited- an importer of chemical products, Nosak Haulage Limited, and Saturn Farms Limited- an integrated oil palm plantation located in Benin, among others.
